Two Years Old!!

Taylor will be officially TWO years old tomorrow!!  I seriously can't believe that my little baby girl is already a toddler.  Seemed like only a few weeks ago that Paul and I were stressing over the three extra days she had to spend in the NICU getting treated for jaundice...wondering what more lay in store for us to worry over in the unknown future years.  Now I realize that the stress and worry over raising a child is one of the last things on my mind because there's far too much to be thankful for!

We have a little miniature version of ourselves who looks up to our every word and action.  She amazes us on a daily basis with how quickly she learns and observes and how appropriately she uses new words and phrases in context.  We have a little girl who constantly expresses her love to all around her with frequent "I love you's" and hugs and kisses and random declarations of "TayTay's mama" or "TayTay's daddy!"  We have a human being who now wakes up in the morning on her own, climbs out of her bed, walks into our bedroom, and proudly greets us with "Good Morning!" every beautiful day.

There are too many wonderful things I can say about my TayTay and I wish I can write about each one so that 15 years from now, I can look back at these days and remember how much we reveled in the simple joys of each day with her.  I hope that when, and if, we do start facing "real life" problems with Taylor (maybe when she's in her teens), we'll look back at this time and remember how much we adored this innocent yet precocious little one.  That no matter how hard life gets one day in the future, it's all worth it for her.

Ok, enough of that.  Photos are always a great way to keep a memory alive.  Taylor's 2nd birthday party--thanks to all who were able to make it!

It was a "RATATOUILLE" themed party because a)Tay loves the movie, b) she loves to pretend be a chef, and c)she loves food...duh.  If you haven't seen the movie, you should definitely see it!!  It's for those who love cooking, Paris, and food!

Here was the table spread:

Even, Penne came to the party to keep Honey company...but Tay had more fun with her:

Tay was very happy with her special celebration:

Wonder what she had left to wish for:

What more can you wish for with such amazing family and friends like these:

Well...I guess a little girl can never have too many PRESENTS:

Happy Birthday, my funny little TayTay:

Mommy and Daddy are shamelessly proud of the girl you've already become in these short two years.  Can't wait to see what the future holds for us...and more importantly, for you.
