Before I get too ahead of myself here, a few photos to reflect on our holiday season...
Tay got plenty of gifts for Christmas. One of the best ones was from my parents: Tay's own miniature kitchen in of course, my "favorite" color, pink (my mom is lucky I love her enough to overlook the color choice):
Tay got lots of gifts from other people that correlated well with her new kitchen...such as a mini baking set from Pamela, our next door neighbor:
Tay also got a dishwasher rack full of plates, cups, and dishes from Auntie Annie:
It looks like we may have a chef in the making as nearly all of Tay's gifts were geared towards cooking. Here's a video of Tay playing with her Christmas gift from Mommy and Daddy:
On a separate note, Tay finally got baptized at our home church in LA on Christmas Day:
The next morning, Mommy and Daddy took Tay to the Farmer's Market and Tay grabbed herself some treats:
Tay also spent a lot of time lounging at home during our relaxing holiday week in LA:
Apparently, so did Honey:
But Tay still helped Mommy and Daddy around at the house. Here she is helping to pick up and clean Honey's poop:
On New Year's Day, we put Tay in her hanbok from her first birthday to see if it still fit and while the dress was a little short in length, it still fit her pretty well:
Here is Tay's first traditional Korean New Year's experience:
She certainly reaped the rewards of this wonderful cultural tradition:
So 2012 has come and gone and now, 2013 is already underway. We have lots to look forward to this year and I have no doubt that time will only go by faster. Especially when we have this little one to amuse us on a daily basis:
Excited to see what 2013 has in store...
