She's learning!

There have been quite a few developments lately! My little Taytay can now pull herself to a standing position with support, she can give you a high five, she can open and close her fist, and she can clap!! It's been really fun to see her watch us and then try and mimick. It's also very apparent that she loves people watching. When we're at home, she gets finicky more easily but if we're at Target or Trader Joe's, she'll sit very content in the shopping cart watching all the people go by.

Check out this video of her getting into a standing position:

Here's another one of her clapping:

Now, picture time!

Sporting our matching kicks! Thanks Hami!

Shopping at the Carlsbad outlets:

She loves looking at herself in the mirror. She even tries to kiss her own reflection:

She's learning how to do the laundry:

And she loves shopping at Target!

By the way, we finally decided to embrace parenthood and turned our living room into her playground. While we haven't yet fully baby-proofed our home, we were very proud of ourselves for taking this first step.

I'm sure that this is only stage 1 of our home turning into Tay's playground....

i found myself so immersed in these videos that i ended up about an inch away from my puter screen by the end of each clip, somehow subconsciously thinking that i could get closer to her...

great update, tams! :)
