Home-less

It's been over a month since my last post--you know why? Because we've been homeless for the past month and a half. How does this keep happening to us?? This is the 3rd water intrusion we've dealt within the past 3 years now!! We're averaging one a year. This time, our neighbor's plumbing wore out within our walls so every time she used her shower, water leaked from her unit into our walls. But we were unaware of this for several weeks, maybe months. By the time we saw the evidence of water ballooning in our bathroom ceiling, our walls throughout our hallway and bedroom were soaked. They had to take out everything--our drywalls, our shower, our toilet, all of our wood floors. This will be our last weekend as temporary residents at the Marriott. We finally get to move back in on Tuesday, thank goodness. We can finally return to some normalcy.

Despite our homeless status, Tay has been a trooper. Still sleeping well and still a happy lil baby--so lucky to have a low maintenance baby. We do have some pictures to share!

Over the Labor Day weekend, our families went to Temecula to relax, get some sun, and do a little wine tasting. The house we rented was beautiful. The infinity pool looked out over a picturesque view of the vineyards from which we could see hot air balloons lift off in the early morning. Here are some photos from that weekend:
