Still going strong!!
I must also share that Tay got 3 vaccination shots during her visit and she did not make even the slightest peep when being injected. The nurse looked at her a with a confused look and said, "Did you not feel anything??" I looked back at the nurse in astonishment while holding my breath for the delayed reaction that I could have sworn was coming. After a few seconds of silence ticked by, the nurse looked at Tay and said, "Oh, you deserve a toy for that!" I immediately looked at Tay and said "Tay, do you want a toy??!" She looked back at me with a winning smile and whispered "yeaaaaah." My daughter is my hero.
Anyways, based on the pamphlet that Tay's doctor provided, here are some developmental stages to look forward to from 1 to 2 years:
Your child will be more interested in turning pages of her favorite books herself:
Your child will spend more time exploring an object than she has before (or in Tay's case, exploring the TV):
Your child is learning how to communicate her wants, needs, and feelings by using words and facial expressions:
Your child is paying more attention to the actions of others and may try to imitate those actions:
Taylor has grown and developed so much, so fast. She's become very verbal and her determined personality is really starting to show through.
I can't believe this little amazing baby is ours.
