Half a Year old!

It's been a busy month with 3 weddings--lots of driving back and forth from LA along with the emergence of Tay's first two teeth and her first fever/cold. But despite the 101.8 degree fever, the runny nose, and several sleepless nights, we got through it and Taylor was a trooper. Today was her 6 month doctor's appointment and here were her stats:

Weight: 17 pounds and 8.8 ounces - 80th percentile
Height: 26.25 inches - 70th percentile
Head: 16.75 inches - 54th percentile

The doctor gave her the thumbs up and gave us the green light to start venturing out to more solid foods such as pureed veggies and fruits. We've already been giving her little bites of food here and there and can tell that she's going to be a good eater. I used to be very picky as a baby so I'm thankful that she didn't take after me in that aspect!

Some fun updates on milestones:

She's starting to hold onto her own bottle.

She can see and focus on Honey.

She can scoot around in her little jumper.

And, she can sit on her own with little to no support.

She can also roll both ways (front to back and back to front) and she's starting to scoot on all fours!! I can't wait til she starts crawling!! I know experienced parents say that that's when it gets harder but I just think it'll be so cute to see her lil booty scooting all over the place!! Gotta start babyproofing...
